A Look Back at 2010 on SugarSocial

Many posts on this blog are meant to gab about can’t-live-without-them products that help me get polished and presentable, and to share tips that I’ve found useful in my journey (in beauty and in life). But I also like to imagine this blog as a time capsule, existing forever somewhere in internet land for eternity. I thought it might be fun to take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of my favorite moments from the past year. Here are the posts that made 2010 memorable.

SugarSocial celebrated its 1st birthday.

We painted the town beautiful at Nordstrom.

My summer bridal beauty guide was featured on Memento Designs.

My boy gave me the Beastmaster.

I covered the new (grey) smoky eye.

I gave you my tips on building a brush collection

and then offered advice on how to store them.

My beautiful friends shared their faves.

I took a peek at Katy Perry’s new collection for OPI.

I predicted some spring beauty & fashion trends.

I got majorly thick hair from Living Proof.

Arcade Fire rocked The Suburbs.

MAC took us to the beach.

I showed you a peek inside my makeup bag.

Billion Dollar Brows Brow Buddy took the guesswork out of brow shaping and defining.

I looked at the launch of Burberry’s makeup line.

To all readers: 18 months after launching this blog, I never dreamed it would come as far as it has. I am so grateful for all my readers, and love chatting with you, whether it’s through email, or if you leave me a comment here on a post. And for those of you who read without commenting or corresponding, thank you. I’m so grateful to be able to share my beauty world with you.
