About

I’ve been a beauty junkie for more than 18 years. My style has transformed drastically over time, but my love for beauty products and cosmetics never waned. All the experimenting I’ve done has resulted in an excessive amount of beauty tips, techniques, and product knowledge, which I’ve been sharing with friends for years. I also have been doing makeup for family & friends for years, which has helped me perfect my skills and understand makeup for a variety of face shapes, features, skin tones, and textures.

I have strong opinions about which products deliver on their promises. I am a writer by day, and my unbiased background shines through on this blog: if I’m not crazy about something, I’ll tell you, and when I am completely in love with a product, I’ll be sure to let you know.

I invite you to delve into the world of beauty with me as I share new products and old standbys, show you how to recreate celebrity looks at home, and recommend recession-worthy beauty products that won’t break the bank. Although beauty is the main focus, you’ll also see posts about fashion, home design and decor, and general lifestyle articles on the blog.

I live in Philadelphia, and will occasionally feature my favorite finds around the city for all the Philly locals out there.

Have an opinion about anything you’ve seen on this site? Have a product you’d like to suggest for a review? Interested in being a guest blogger? Want to just say hello or chat about mascara? Send me an email!

Beautifully yours,
Kristen

I was wondering if you have an e-mail address where I could suggest a product for review.

  2. Hi Kristen

    Two things

    1) I’d like your permission to (re)print your article on Mad Men for our website

    2) I was hoping we could use your ‘scribing’ talent for our website.

Mad Men is one of our featured shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc. [Or in your case, fashion inspired by these shows]

    What’s in it for you?

Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks

    T.

This site is so resourceful and informative, it will transform even the most fashionably-inept person into a stylista in two shakes of a lamb’s tail

  5. I’ve just discovered your site via Glossbox’s twitter and have ended up reading about 100 posts! Great information and look.
