MAC Viva Glam Nicki 2 Lipglass ($15): This gloss looks ultra-lilac in the tube, but goes on a creamy lavender-pink. It is SO pretty and springy, words don’t do it justice. My absolute fave Lipglass in ages. Also comes in lipstick form.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Fearless ($26): This powder blush goes on soft and subtle, but gives a beautiful flush to cheeks. It’s laced with a little bit of shimmer, which really brightens up cheeks. I love this color for spring. Unfortunately this shade was limited edition and is no longer available, but I’ve included a link above to Amused, a similar shade in Tarte’s permanent line-up.
Kate Spade Live Colorfully Eau de Parfum ($75-$90): Kate’s new scent is a mix of mandarin, pink water lily, coconut water, Tahitian vanilla, star anise, golden gardenia, tiare flower, musk, & sheer amber. It literally smells like spring & summer in a bottle. It goes on light and sheer, but lasts for hours in a subtle way. Also, the bottle is bright, bow-topped, and totally gorgeous on a vanity.
Jumbo Lipstick Pencil in Pink Nude ($4.50) and NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee ($5): I am loving this combo on lips. The pencil is smooth and glides across lips easily. It’s very frosty, but topped with the gloss, you get a creamy, pinky-nude lip that’s ultra flattering.
Eve Echo Hand Sanitizer in Lavender Vanilla ($8): I hate the sticky feel of hand sanitzers, but they’re a necessity when you take public transportation. This purse-sized spray is lightweight, kills 99% of germs, and smells lovely.
