Thank GOD the spring collections are rolling out, because I need something to take my mind off dreary, frigid winter! One collection that’s got me really excited for color and warmer temps is Bobbi Brown’s Neons and Nudes collection. The neon shades, which appear practically glowing, scream spring. The collection is a beautiful study in contrast, with neutral beiges, khakis, and tans serving as the backdrop for electrified hues. I adore this entire collection!

Ultra Nude Eye Palette ($45, LE), from left: Stone Eyeshadow, Praline Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow, Pink Chandelier Metallic Eyeshadow, Chino Eyeshadow, Champagne Truffle Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow, Cocoa Berry Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow.
Lip Gloss ($23), from left: Citrus, Cosmic Pink, Ultra Violet. These look intense in the tube but go on really sheer and shiny, with almost a stain-like effect. They’re absolutely gorgeous on. I picked up a tube of Cosmic Pink, and I can’t stop admiring the shine and hint of color it gives my lips. Here’s a shot I took of the tube; it reminds me a lot of NARS Easy Lover, but with a smoother, even shinier texture.

Blush ($24), from left: Nude Peach, Nude Pink. They provide a lovely contrast to the neon shades in this collection, and provide a soft, pretty wash of color on the cheeks. Although it’s demure, it’s not timid. You can layer the blush for more intensity, and it’s just as pretty.
I am obsessed with the Nude Pink blush. Here’s a photo I snapped of my own. You can see its soft, warm color. Despite the fact that it looks pale in the compact, it delivers a decent amount of color to my cheeks for a pretty, pinky flush. It actually goes on a bit lighter and more vibrant than the pictures show.
