My Favorite Brow Products

favoritebrowproductsLet’s be real: nobody has perfect brows…especially if you were a ’90s teen like me who overplucked when skinny brows were all the rage. But that doesn’t mean you can’t fake it. Here are my trusted products for giving me flawless arches. (You won’t see any powders on here, as I never use it!)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil ($21): The teeny-tiny pencil tip allows you to mimic the look of actual hairs, and it’s slightly waxy and super long-lasting. It comes in a wide array of colors so you can match your brows perfectly. The little spoolie on the opposite end is super convenient and blends out product evenly. A must-have! (I use the Taupe shade.)

Nudestix Eyebrow Stylus Pencil & Gel ($24): I got this waterproof brow pencil in Dirty Blonde, and I love the color, texture, and how quickly and evenly it fills in my brows. But the surprise here was the brow gel that comes with this; I wasn’t expecting much and OMG this is awesome! I wish they sold it separately! It’s super strong, holds my brows in place ALL DAY, and the tiny little wand makes it so easy for me to get right in there and shape my brows exactly how I want. Also, the black matte metal tin it comes in has been corralling the random lipsticks & glosses that were floating around in my purse.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade ($18): For a more natural effect, I’ve been turning to this (read my full recent review here). I found that this is great for filling in the inner corners of my brows as I’m trying to grow them in. It keeps the corners from looking too harsh and blends out softly and beautifully with a spoolie. (I use the Blonde color.)

MAC Brow Set in Clear ($17): Best brow gel. Enough said.

Milani Brow & Eye Highlighter ($6.50): This brow pencil is a drugstore dupe for Anastasia’s Brow Duality. The dual-ended creamy pencil has a matte end and a shimmery end. I swipe these under my arches to define and highlight the area. It makes such a difference; my brows look polished and neat. I use the Matte Cream/Luminous Lift shade (a pinky neutral), and it also comes in Matte Beige/High Glow (champagne) and Vanilla/Natural Taupe (yellowy cream and medium brown).

NYX Microbrow ($10): A drugstore dupe for Anastasia’s Brow Wiz. Really, really similar — just requires slightly more pressure when applying, as it’s slightly less waxy.

What are some of your favorite brow products? I’d love to hear in the comments.

PS: I haven’t been able to blog as much lately, but I appreciate you checking back for new content! I hope to have more time to get back to a regular schedule soon.
