NuMe’s White Truffle haircare line is generating a lot of buzz, so I decided to give it a shot. Over the summer, my hair had gotten really dry, and I was trying to grow it out, so I wanted to give it a little extra love. I am an affiliate with NuMe (so if you purchase a product of theirs through a link in my blog, I receive a small commission), but even if I wasn’t, I would still be writing this same review. I purchased these products out of pocket; they were not sent to me for consideration, and this is not a sponsored post. These are my own results, and I wanted to share with you how impressed I am with this haircare line.
Before we get into the post, let’s talk price. These products are normally $50 each. NuMe constantly offers discount codes, so you won’t have to pay full price — so don’t dismiss them because they’re expensive! Right now, you can get the entire set — Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Mask, Hair Primer, and Leave-In Conditioner — for $50. Enter code WHITETRUFFLE at checkout.
I have a good hair day every time I use these products. The shampoo and conditioner are incredibly hydrating. They make my hair ultrasoft, full of shine, and really healthy-looking. I wash my hair every other day, but I typically use them every other time I wash my hair, which comes out to about once or twice a week. They’re great for color-treated, dry, coarse, thick, and normal hair types. If you have fine or limp hair, I wouldn’t recommend these. They are on the heavier side, and if you apply these to thin hair, they could weigh it down. When I saw the thickness of these products, I was really surprised that they didn’t weigh my hair down.
More details after the break.
The bottles say to use one pump of each product, and I stick to that. I used them once or twice a week during the summer, when I felt my hair needed an extra shot of moisture and a little boost of health. I immediately saw a difference in the appearance of my hair. This duo will be perfect through fall and winter, when the air turns brisk and indoor heat and cold temps zap your hair of its moisture. They also help smooth it all out, which will be great in winter, when flyaways tend to pop up more often.
Finally, a word on packaging: the pump tops on these bottles are a great addition. Since you get a decent amount of product (16oz.) in each bottle, the bottles are bigger than your standard shampoo bottles. Having the pump tops make it so much more convenient and easier to store.
