Brand to Watch: Original Mineral Modern Haircare

original-mineralSometimes, you can’t help but fall for a product’s package. Such is the case with haricare line Original Mineral. The sleek, minimalist design of these bottles, cans, and vials are so beautiful in a quiet, understated way. Clean lines and uncluttered surfaces create little works of art that you will love looking at in your shower, medicine cabinet, or on your vanity.

And what’s inside is pretty powerful stuff. The brand has a full cleansing line with several shampoos and conditioners related to specific issues, including color preservation and pumping up fine hair. They also offer two treatments intended to reverse damage, and a range of styling products (everything from surf spray to root lift). The products have cool names, too, like Style Guru (styling cream), Original Queenie (firm-hold hairspray), & Know Knott (detangling spray).

original-mineral3One of the products I’m most intrigued by is Seven Day Miracle ($34.95 for 8.4 oz., $10.95 for 1.7 oz.) This treatment masque for damaged hair infuses it with moisture from Australian argan oil and macadamia seed oil. Supposedly, it turns even the most fried manes into healthy heads of hair within seven days when used as directed.

Have you ever tried Original Mineral products? I’m dying to get my hands on some. You can order the full range of products online, or check out the salon locator on their website for a retailer near you.
