Tarte Spring ’15

tarte-spring2015This post is a little nostalgic. I remember when, 15 years ago, there was all this buzz about a fabulous new cheek stain stick from a new indie beauty brand called Tarte. The Cheek Stains were available at Sephora, and they were a big deal; they shot to cult status instantly. And now that no-longer-indie beauty brand Tarte is celebrating its 15th birthday. (I feel so old!) They’ve unveiled a celebratory new collection for spring 2015 to commemorate their 15 years of growth and amazing contributions to the beauty industry. Take a look at what’s in the collection.

It’s a nice addition to the lineup of shades in this blush line. It comes in a confetti-adorned box with the same print as the lipstick tube shown below.

tarte-parkave-contourPark Ave Princess Contour Palette ($34): This compact contains two pans: a bronzing powder in Tarte’s famous matte Park Ave Princess shade, and a split pan of highlighter and blush. The three shades are all you need to create dimension on your face through highlighting and contouring.
